Ben Duncan

CEO & company founder

Having developed one of the first commercial Webmail products in 1998, Ben Duncan founded Atmail in 2001 and continues to be the driving force behind the company. With a strong background in software programming and user-interface design, Ben Duncan leads Atmail as a global innovator in the email-messaging space.

Having travelled around the world implementing Atmail for education institutions, carriers, enterprise and small-business customers, he is now based at the Peregian Beach office and runs the company as the CEO.

Jason Brown

CTO

Joining the Atmail team in 2005, Jason Brown has years of experience with Linux, Virtualised environments, designing and maintaining high-availability Atmail deployments and implementing large-scale Atmail systems for clients worldwide. Jason Brown is responsible for launching and maintaining the Atmail appliance hardware line, and has a senior knowledge of the Atmail product-range.

Bonny Morlak

Chief Customer Officer

Responsible for the total relationship with Atmail's customers.
Forming and maintaining a single vision across all methods of customer contact.
Responsible for strategic corporate activities of customer relations in the call centre, sales, marketing, user interface, finance (billing), fulfilment and post-sale support.

My favourite Atmail feature: I really love the way our support team handles everything from the smallest pre-sales question to big emergencies: Patient, polite and real.


Andy Grayndler

Global VP of Sales and Accounts

Having joined Atmail in early 2002, Andy is one of the original veterans of the company. With years of experience in Linux, open-source technologies and large-scale accounts Andy is responsible for managing global sales of Atmail. Andy is a long-time Atmail Evangelist for the company technologies and is based at the Australian HQ.

Allan Wrethman

Senior Software Architect

Originally from South Africa, Allan Wrethman joined the Atmail team in 2008 to become the leading software architect for the Atmail 6 product-range. Allan a master programmer in PHP, jQuery and Linux systems, is the main architect for the Atmail 6 development and enjoys nothing more then developing software that is used by millions of people worldwide on a daily basis

Mikaela Duncan

User Interface Designer

Known for her unique user-interface style, Mikaela is a world-renowned user-interface designer and is the principle UI developer for the Atmail product range. Living and breathing CSS, Mikaela enjoys graphic design and employing the latest Web technologies to create compelling user-interfaces.

Brad Kowalczyk

Technical Support Manager

With years of experience in programming PHP and maintaining Linux systems, Brad Kowalczyk is now the central manager for all client relations and support inquiries. Having an in-depth knowledge of Atmail and Linux, no challenge is to large for Brad to overcome. Having a complete programmer understanding of Atmail and its internal components Brad is able to support clients directly.

My favourite Atmail feature: The plugin framework, which opens up great opportunity to add features and alter behavior without editing the core code of Atmail


John Contad

Senior Engineer

With years of experience maintaining large Atmail installations, John an expert at Linux and BSD systems for Atmail. He is responsible for supporting and maintaining large client implementations of Atmail. With leading experience in high-availability and clustered Atmail systems John is Atmail's senior support engineer.

Support Engineer

Stewart Bazley has years of support experience and is the senior engineer who assists with client support inquiries. With an expert knowledge of hosting environments and Linux systems, Stewart assists clients to maintain and deploy Atmail installations worldwide. No system is too complex for Stewart to help support and maintain Atmail products.

Ben Ferguson

USA Sales & Support

Having joined Atmail in 2006 Ben Ferguson is a senior sales and support representative in the US. Having previous experience with Linux environments, Ben Ferguson is a rock-star sales representative with a solid understanding of the Atmail product range from a developer and administrative view.

My favourite Atmail feature: Conversation threading in the Webmail UI, easy to track and maintain messages.


Brett Embery

Senior Software Architect

Brett Embery is responsible for designing and maintaining the calendar and groupware components of Atmail. A champion for open standard protocols, Brett Embery has created Atmail as one of the first open-protocol CalDAV client/server implementations. Brett is an avid C++ programmer and has designed the Atmail Websync utility for Outlook.
