Introducing the new Atmail appliance range. The Atmail Mini, Base, Pro and Multi-server appliance is now available with a new hardware architecture and optimized for Atmail 6.

The Atmail appliance is a complete turn-key hardware solution for your Email-server, Webmail, Calendaring, Groupware and overall messaging platform. The system takes the complexity out of maintaining and supporting a messaging solution for your organization.

Mini Model

An affordable small-business appliance with support between 25-150 users. Starting at just $1,495 the Atmail Mini appliance can replace your ageing hardware with a simple 1U appliance. Plug’n'Deploy messaging platform out of the box.

Base Model

Suitable for small to medium sized deployments of up to 10,000 active users, the Base model appliance includes redundant hard-disks, faster processor and up to 2TB of storage. The Base Appliance is a mid-level system for redundancy and performance.

Pro Model

A power-house for corporate and large deployments with up to 20,000 active users, the Pro model appliance includes an inbuilt SSD drive for the OS and Atmail software, dramatically increasing performance. User data is replicated between two drives for redundancy and failover protection. The Pro model is ideal for larger installations that require an added level of performance.

Multi-Server Model

Suited for large scale ISP and Telecommunications deployments with up to 100,000 active users, the model includes 3 Pro Appliances setup and optimised for a multi-server cluster. Designed for larger deployments and mission critical services that require multiple servers, redundancy and breakthrough performance.

HostingCon 2009

Atmail will be exhibiting at HostingCon 2010 from July 19th through the 21st in Austin Texas. HostingCon is the largest gathering of hosted services professionals in the world. The Atmail team will be focusing attention on its premium webmail client for hosting providers, ISPs and communication carriers.  Atmail 6.1.9 released - Calendar performance/maintanance patch, new migration script

With this release, we focused mainly on fixing issues raised and revising code to make the calendar UI and backend faster to use.
The calendar server has a patch with this release specifically focusing on scalability and migration speed.

One of the big calendar improvements is a new multi-threaded migration script which significantly improves total migration time for large Atmail 5 datasets.

  • Improved calendar drag and drop experience
  • Improved caldav client digest support
  • Improved modify event pane and refresh after save
  • Generally improved UI speed
  • Vastly improved calendar server performance and scalability

  • Fixed various websync warnings

Issues Fixed:

  • A small list of bugs in the calendar backend and UI
  • Fixed event available for editing before server has allocated id
  • Fixed only first user being applied for calendar permissions
  • Fixed event display on resize
